Year 6 - Osmington Bay
Each year, the Year 6 pupils have the opportunity to take part in a residential trip to Osmington Bay, Dorset at a site run by PGL. The pupils leave school with their bags packed on Monday morning and return, tiired but with lots of exciting memories on the Friday afternoon.

What an amazing few days! The sun has been shining and, despite a bit of wind, the children have thrown themselves into more exciting activities. We’ve been hiking, abseiling, climbing and learning to build fires. The teachers have also been soaking the children on sensory trail. We have been whizzing around the track on quad bikes and soaring through the air on the giant swing. Now it’s disco time! Time to party, photos of disco outfits to follow!
Osmington Bay Tuesday Night
We have settled into Osmington Bay quickly and everyone is having a great time. We love it here! The weather has been fantastic just like the beautiful scenery. We are trying lots of new food and new activities, making new friends and laughing a lot. Today’s activities have included a long hike along the Dorset coast near Osmington village, crawling through tight and very dark tunnels, flying down the longest zip wire at Osmington Bay, pushing ourselves on the indoor rock climbing and jumping off the top of telegraph poles! We are now off to campfire to sing some songs and we can’t wait for tomorrow.
