Stubbington Residential 2019
Year 4 have started another fantastic week at Stubbington Study Centre.
When we arrived, building shelters tested our teamwork. As you can see that some of us were rather wet after they were tested with bucket of icy water!
We were also extrememly lucky to see not one, but two badgers and a fox on our first night too.
At the beach this morning, we searched for fossils and shark's teeth. They were tricky to find amongst all the large pebbles and sand. Whilst our rock pools settled we made sculptures with a seaside theme. Some of them were very inventive. Our rock pools finally became clear and were able to see blennies, sea anemones and whelks.
This afternoon we have placed our mammal hotels in the conservation area and eagerly wait until the morning to see if we were successful and caught a mouse or vole.
